Well, that was exhausting! I tired myself out doing all that stuff.. and then trying to record it. This is why I can't lose weight . I hate keeping track of things like chores, and recording calories. I know they've got all those neat apps on my phone to help me accomplish those things but I just don't like being on my cell phone more than I have to.
Well.. I've come to a conclusion. I'll never be the mom I want to be unless i can start committing to stuff and following through until the end. I need to vow one project at a time, which is also hard for me.
Here are some of the things I'd like to COMMIT TO.. I should be making promises but I honestly struggle and I do understand I'm Mom now, and I've got to do this.
I believe if I can't commit then I won't be able to home school my kids the way i want.. .. and that is important to me.
Things I hope to commit to soon:
_ Read the Book of Mormon EVERYDAY.. (I should of got that one down a long time ago)
_Teach 100 lessons to Jordan w/o missing an assigned day.
_ Picking everything off the floor EVERY NIGHT.. this one shouldn't be that big of a deal. I mean its safety we are talking about
It's hard for me to make more.. I know it's just unrealistic right now to wake up early every day, start an exercise routine, Never miss Family Home Evening or morning/ evening family prayer and scripture study.. I just can't commit yet. :/ Wish me luck.
Which habits do you have that make you a better mother?!

I am Mom Day 6
I am Mom, Observation Day 6
oh, Saturday!! Saturday is family day! Or at least that is my greatest dream! It and Sunday I really wish to never have to work.
830 am. Woke up to a box I put away yesterday everywhere on my clean living room floor, fed my kids.
930 am. Got dressed, went to get gas. Silly story here.. I went in to pre-pay. The pump stopped "saying it was full". I had to go in for change.. and when I started the car, it was only 3/4 full.
10-1230 pm. Stake Primary Aux meeting! It was really amazing! I may only be the secretary but the lessons of teaching.. and reminder of how important these little spirits.. MY little spirits are. It has really made me want to prepare to teach them! I want to study "Teacher, No Greater Call" along with my Alma reading. I say Alma because it takes me MONTHS to get through Alma in the Book of Mormon. So, I decided when i finish I will start with it again until I understand it, or can get through it faster!
1 pm. Cheered A on while he filled out more applications.
130 pm. I think I watched TV
2-4 pm. Tried my best to pick up the office aka "catch all". I sent the boys outside so i could watch them on the side of my house. 3 helped clean aka "undid" right next to me.
5 pm. Made dinner
530 pm. Carved a pumpkin with my littles! :)
6 pm. Watched TV, and did 2 loads of laundry
7 pm. Clipped nails, and bathed kids.
730 pm. PJ's and played and put 3 to bed- movie time and cuddling with 1 & 2.

"I am Mom" Observation Day 5
This experiment is going to be good. I can't wait to really evaluate my daily life... and soon compare it to the life I want to be living by getting off my lazy mom butt and make the serious change into pro-mom! I know the only way of this is possible is if I am following the Lords commandments... including praying daily for help and reading His Holy words into the scriptures!
Day 5, I am MOM Observation
9 am. Woke up (sick with ear infection and tired from a long week of work). Got ready while A got 2 ready!
930 am. Went to Learning Play Group, a group I facilitate. Only 2 wanted to come. We went on a field trip "around town" to the Library, the Icecream shop, and the fire station.
1130 am. Went to the Brett show to watch a friend get proposed to- so cute!
12 pm. Exchanged Bro's B'day gift for something else, went to UPS and shipped out B'day gift.
1230 pm. Picked up Friday Chinese food to share w/ A before he went to work.
1 pm. Hung out with A and kids while we ate lunch and got yelled at because my house was messy
2 pm. Watched recorded TV show with A, while kids destroyed each other and everything else.
3 pm. Took a bath, read a few minutes in my book
330- 530 pm. 3 and mommy took a nap. 1 & 2 watched a movie on Ruko
530 pm. It literally took me one hour to pick up and clear off everything in dining room. Vacuumed and re-arranged photos on the wall. I also put away everyone's shoes and belonging.. (really that just means tossing the stuff that goes in each room. ) I yelled too much at crazy kids who run into things, jump on our neighbors heads, jump off furniture, and clobber the baby.. ERR!
7 pm. Heated Lasagna and fed kids dinner
730 pm. Cleaned boys room.. put away all toys (left clothes to be hanged in a nice pile, and got them in PJ's
8ish pm. Tucked boys in, got them water and said "goodnight!" First time I put them to bed in 4 days. :(
830 pm. Cleaned 1/2 the kitchen and gave up. Dished myslef some chips and salsa and sat down in my new clean Living room (a will be so proud since before he left he told me to get motivated and pick things up).
9 pm. Watched Merlin on Ruko until A came home from work, hung out with him for 1 hour.
3 hours= private time with just me and 2 <3
9 hours= with my kids- even if I was cleaning and yelling
2 hours= housekeeping
4-5 hours= me time
2 hours= Quality hubby time

I am Mom OBSERVATION
9 am.- Woke up, kids were fed. Got 2 & 3 dressed, then dressed myself.. packed 1's clothes in a bag since he refused to get ready. Brushed 2's teeth... improvement from yesterday yeah?
930-1030 am.- Dr. Appt for 3, all 3 kids there for a hemoglobin prick, and 4 shots. ~Frustrated with Medicaid, their "requirements" and a semi-political Dr. who thinks the programs will disappear and he won't have a job.. Come on doc, get real... let people start making more money and pay you directly.. DAG ON!! I ask too many questions, I don't follow doctors orders with my "anemic" baby, and refuse stupid tests. Why do I even go?!
1030-Picked up calendar from Health dept.
1045- Paid for pictures at B. Photo.. but they weren't ready.. so I just paid for them.
1130- Drove to downtown got burgers from kids so they were busy during the oil change.. Drop ALL The way across river to get oil change.. they were too busy.. made an appt for tomorrow A.M.
1200 pm.- Got home and took a bath with Apple Cider Vinegar w/ the Mother.. if you can guess why.. sorry for the TMI! Opened up mail I found on a VERY messy counter top.
1230- Packed up the kids again to run to the Medicaid office because I got a notice about canceled Medicaid for kiddos. They told me they never got form from my work, and I cried because they are SO rude, and I can't take it with the gov't trying to take over EVERY thing in my life.. (why do I get to be "poor" right now?!)
1 pm. Went to work to get form, lady that they sent it to to fax it was out sick. LAME.
130 pm. Drove home, cried, complained to my mom on the phone. Blogged.

Kissin' Our Laundry
In January I received this recipe from a friend. At the time I didn't know where it can from buton Pintrest I found some familiar pictures. I was interested in making my own laundry soap. Its funny because before I only bought $20 Tide once a month. My friend from down stairs told me she only spends $20 a month on all her families bathroom and washing needs. That is insane to me because I'm for sure way over $100. She uses Money Saving Mom for a lot and maybe one day I will learn.
**UPDATE: I USED 1 FALS NAPTHA, AND 1/2 IVORY, AND 27 OIL DROPS.. I REALLY LIKE THIS RATIO.. I'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ONCE I'VE BEEN USING IT FOR A WHILE**

| I wrote the Instructions on my designated 5 Gallon Bucket! |
