She is so simple and so fun! A was bummed that he didn't get to help decorate the tree. He decided to do his homework that day. So, J and I made him some ornaments to put up!!

Book of Mormon Challenge!

It is so embarrassing to say that I haven't finished the Book of Mormon since our last challenge from President Hinckley in 2006. As the first thing in my New Calling in our brand new ward is to propose a Book Of Mormon reading challenge to the Sisters! As we focus and read as a Relief Society (& others) we will be unified and it will strengthen our testimonies through all the new changes and challenges of the forming of a New Ward.

If you want to read along & take the Challenge I wrote up a reading list!! We started yesterday with the Intro and our end date is Mother's Day!! I thought it fit! :) It is a little longer than our last challenge of 2 months, so I hope more people participate! Have fun!!

Adam and I are doing ours together! This will be the very first time we finish the Book of Mormon as a married couple! and we WILL finish!! I'm making sure of that! :)

25 Years.

I celebrated my 25th birthday yesterday! Kisses to Claire and Jeanie who sang to me and brought me a sweet gift. Kisses to Cindy who gave my the last $ of her fun money. Kisses to my Mom & family for an awesome Scentsy order and $ for something great!! and Extra kisses to Adam and my boys for the gifts they got me!!

Maybe now that i am 25 I will remember how old I am! I thought I was 21 until I remembered I'm turning 25 this year!! These 25 years have been so packed with LIFE, it is beautiful and amazing!

I am extremely grateful to have the fullness of the Gospel in my life! I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Christ Gospel on earth today! I feel so blessed to have the knowledgeof my Savior- this is the ONLY thing that has brought me to this day!

I have Amazing parents! My Father who watches over me from the Heavens and a Mother who teaches me all she knows! A loving husband who reminds me to be better everyday! Who loves me though all my ugly times and remind me I have a Heavenly Father who loves me though all my ugly times too!! And TWO amazing children!! What a fantastic responsibility I have and a wonderful gift here on earth!

Through these years I've had the opportunity to receive an education in education! I know teaching is a gift I have and I need to utilize it in the career I have now, with my children and with my friends and neighbors! I've been blessed with a movable healthy body! I need to take better care of it and get it more active so I can have it 25 more years just as healthy and movable!! I have been able to MEET so many people who have changed my life!! Growing up in a military home I've met so many people! I feel honored to say I know someone in so many places! Name a state and I can tell you someone I know from there or who lives there now!! (That could be a fun game! lol. Vermont and New Hampshire I might loose at!)

Anyways- This rambling is all for one thing! Thank God for the body and life I have!! To share with you the appreciation I have for you and desire in my heart I have to serve you!! And the desire I have in my heart to serve the Lord. I hope to use my next 25 years in service to the work he would have me do!! Starting in my home!! xoxoxo

Blessing Others!

I was feeling kind of down because I made a very special goal and I didn't quite make it! Then I started to get down on myself!! I am Thankful for my mom and our pep talk because she reminded me of all the Blessing I've received and all the people I've been able to bless through my Scentsy company!

Only 8 months ago I started Scentsy! I've made back my investment, I've doubled my initial investment 27 times! I've never HAD to pay more and spend more money! Compared to last year I made something for my home income! Luckily, I get to spend that money on all the special things I want for my kids! It is such an amazing feeling sharing my pay check with Adam and my kids!

Beyond just what I've done, I was able to introduce the opportunity to my friends and neighbors! My neighbor is doing fantastic int he company and just like me a stay at home mom who gets $500's or more in her check is really blessing their lives in there certain situations!! It is more than just money! My friend who lives out to the country right now loves the family unit Scentsy brings! The way to make new friends in a foreign land and feel apart of something amazing!!

I love my clients who call me monthly needing more bars to their home can be a place of comfort! A place where there children are going to make memories and a product that will keep that home flame free!!

This year I was able to go to convention, learn more because of a supportive family! I was able to raise close to $300 for the local fire department! I've been able to give gifts away for no reason and make someone smile!! I was even able to start a second business! My Mary Kay business which I love to do because it helps women feel confident and beautiful!

It has been an amazing year, I can't forget all the things I've done so far! 4 months ago I had no one on my team! Today I have 14 amazing people who live busy lives but shares Scentsy because they love it!! Count your blessings, feel blessed, and Bless others!!

Scentsy Wish List!

Intensity Convention 2010

Before I get into the our lives I have to talk about my amazing experience with Scentsy and convention! That way I can really focus! Scentsy makes everything all paradise and its all I think about!! It really is eat, sleep, SCENTSY for me and my family!

Scentsy is changing my person! The ideas of giving more than you get has enriched our lives in so many ways! I love sharing the product and the opportunity! I love training my team and helping everyone reach their individual goals! Making goals is something I am no good at but I've been learning! I've got some really BIG goals made but I need to learn how to stick to the little ones to get to the big ones!!

Anyways- I went to Denver in July and learned about this company I feel so honored to be apart of! I learned a lot and met a lot of "mama's in Scentsy!" They inspired me so much! Here are some pic's from my trip!!

What was extra great about my trip is that I got to stay with Marc and Kim Wheeler! They are great friends to me and I love our friendship!! They are so amazing and I had a blast the little bits of time we got to hangout!! Thanks you guys!!










My next trips in the making:
I'd LOVE to make Director by my birthday and go on the Directors cruise to the Bahama's! I'd LOVE to win a trip to Disney World with Scentsy for a real honeymoon!! and then of coarse its FRIENDSHIP convention in FORT WORTH TX NEXT YEAR!!!

Bad Blogger

This summer I gave up blogging.

I figured no one read it, and I didn't really have anything important to say anyways. Well, today one of my friends told me I needed to update my blog! I started thinking about it. All I do is talk Scentsy on my facebook and I don't have a whole lot to share to the world about my family in just a few worlds! I'm going to post a few blogs about our summer and life and then I'm going to get dedicated to be a better blogger for my records! I really do love it when I blog and I love my blog!!

Scents Make Sense Club!

I was talking to a friend last night and I was reminded how much of a hobby Scentsy is for me! I was told once that i was so lucky to have a hobby where I make money instead of invest tons and tons of money into. It was really neat realizing that! I never could have a hobby before because everything was so expensive and took hours of concentration that I didn't have!

I love that Scentsy is becoming a part of me and all the things I do! The thing I feel like I am missing in Scentsy is friends! I am thrilled that I get to attend two more parties pretty soon and I will get to meet some more fascinating women! Plus, I get to attend Convention! I won't know anyone initially but I'm positive I'm gonna meet some super amazing gals!

However, what I wish I had was friends in the Branson area or even long distance friends who were super excited to grow their own Scentsy business!! I want to have club meetings where we hang out and give cool ideas for our businesses and do fun crafty things prepping our Scentsy jobs! I want to include those kind of girls nights in my life! I really need someone who wants to work with me! Sometimes even the hubby he can only be so excited!! If I had some buddies who made great goals and who I could cheer on towards success and visa versa!! That would top the charts right now!!

Party All the Time.

I know I've been a bit Scentsy crazy lately but I fell so hard and I want everyone to love it just like me. The very first thing I thought about at my friends party was "This is it! This is what I want to spend my time doing other than kids and family". Adam has been telling me to find an interest, a hobby, make some goals and work towards something. I was struggling. I started making a list, I bought some seeds to plant an herb garden (which hasn't started), I wanted to learn about Montessori education, to learn to sew, etc. I was having a hard time finding something I'd love, could find time to do, and could afford. I prayed for it, and then Scentsy arrived!

I've always known I wanted to get into direct sales because I can do it from home, but I couldn't afford a monthly payment or an upfront $300-$600. When I found out Scentsy was only $99 to join and it provided all I needed to make a business, I was THRILLED!!

The initial reason I wanted to join was so I could go to parties all the time! I want to meet more women and mingle more. I know this kind of interaction will make me healthier and happier! So, Adam and I chatted and decided this was the perfect thing for me! Since I signed up I've been having so much fun setting up my Scentsy section, joining my team calls, sharing the scents and meeting new people! It's still so new to me but for the first time ever I'm starting to understand how to make GOALS! I am learning so much and I'm so excited!

I FELL IN LOVE


After my first Scentsy party I knew I needed to be apart of this. I fell in love with the product! I don't know why any one would ever buy wicked candles when there is a product like Scentsy. They are safer, last longer, and easy to switch scents without having to store tons of spacey candles. Plus, you bound to find a fragrance you'll absolutely love! J's party was a blast! I am still waiting for the pictures from my Lil sis but we had such a fun time with his cousins and friends!

Party Outline:
We ate lunch, then we played pick a rubber duckie. The color that matched the duckie they got that color bubble stick! I know kiddies love bubbles! That was probably the party highlight. Then we played knock the cans over. When they knocked down the cans they got this noise maker/ seek and find game. Making these for the party was so fun! Then they got to color and design them! Then we played a candy matching color game. We ate Popsicles and had cake!

It was so much fun and it couldn't be more perfect beautiful day!

Kisses to Mom: Living Room MakeOver

While my mom was here for spring break she gave my living room a makeover! It feels so much more comfortable and homey! We love it!

Our Easter Fun!

STOP YELLING!!!!!!

My two year old is driving me bonkers. After 20 times of calling his name softly, or telling him to "stop" "don't" "no" my voice gets louder and meaner. It doesn't help at all because he still ignores me. Plus, I know those words don't help any but they are always my first reaction.

I have probably caused this problem but he won't stop screaming at the top of his lungs if he doesn't get his way. Even if he wants a drink of water he is screaming at me! First he yells --then he hits. I mean hits mommy and daddy right in the face. We've had serious talks about not touching the baby which he doesn't (most of the day) but how sad I have to keep him AWAY from the baby, and then I react badly when he is being mean.

Also, night times have turned into monsters. Everything is falling apart. We need consistency in schedule and discipline. I'm loosing it. I'm loosing my mind! I feel so weak.

Maybe I should pick my battles- but things I want stopped:
- the yelling
- the hitting
- the jumping on beds and couches
- the putting everything in his mouth
- the ruffing with the baby
- the bed time chaos

These are the things I want reinstated:
- Consistent Scripture Study
- Morning and Evening Family Prayer
- Less TV watching
- Eating only at the table
- Bedtime routine starting at 630 ending no later than 8
- Quiet Time (but how??)
- Time outs???

Help me, help him! Help!
