Ouch, Jo is biting! It is a horrible phase! Maybe he is doing it to get my attention or to tell me he is angry or playing. It is awful, I have to put him down and walk away. I read an advice that he doesn't understand that biting hurts. They do, however, understand crying. I'll tell you how it goes. In the mean time, what did you do to break the habit!

Hey Gloria, I know 100% how you feel, only try having it go on only at the daycare and not at home! I've had a lot of problems with Cristian biting kids at daycare and he doesn't bite at home so I can't discipline him for something he's not doing when he's with me. So sad to say if you get any good advice on how to break the habit, will you please pass it on to me! Thks, hope things work out for you all! XOXO
I would do the same thing with Dianna--just put her down and walk away. She didn't like it and it seemed to help. She does try to bite me now sometimes and she's old enough that when I see it coming I say, "kiss!" and she'll kiss me instead.
awe !hat is cute. I cried twice that day in the same 10 minutes from him biting that day and he hasn't even tried to bite me since. It was a miracle.
